Lunch- Hot Lunch will be provided Mon.- Fri. In the University Center. This includes a drink & snack.

Games and Competitions will be played in the afternoons. All parents and friends are welcome to attend. Our games will be closely watched and instructors will make sure that particular situations will be explained properly.

Extra Work and Special Instructions will be done in the last half hour of camp. As our instructors review each students may need more work in a particular area. We will try to give them more work to overcome these deficiencies.

3:30 Dismissal- No child will be permitted to leave without a parent or permission note from the parents that their child can go home on their own. You can also make arrangements with another parent to pick up your child, however we need to know ahead of time. If by chance you are detained, you can reach me on my cell phone at the field 917-686-1124. I appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Awards Ceremony- Friday June 30th&July 14th, 2:30-3:30. All parents, family and friends are welcome to attend. All students will receive a participation award. We will also have some special awards.

Inclement Weather- In case of rain we will be using Adelphi U. Classrooms, Gym, and University Center.

Insurance- your child will be covered under the One on One Baseball Camp Insurance Policy. If you are not familiar with the terms, this is how it works:If your child is injured and you have your own Health Insurance, you must use your insurance claim. After they are treated whatever your insurance does not cover, we will submit to your insurance and the claim will be reviewed and paid. If you do not have insurance then we act as your primary coverage and your claim will be submitted and reviewed for payment. Any other questions please feel free to call.

Equipment- Gloves, Bats, Cleats, Hats, Ect. Whatever you usually take to a baseball game you will be playing in. Batting gloves and sliding pads are suggested. I also strongly suggest that you have cleats. Sneakers will make you slip and slide. Do not wear jeans or shorts. Baseball uniform pants are suggested. Do not wear hockey, basketball, or soccer jerseys. This is a baseball camp. You will be provided with a camp T-Shirt. You will be required to wear them on Tuesday and Friday during the week of camp. Water will be provided at Adelphi U.

* Athletic Supporters and Cup are mandatory.


Directions- From NYC- Take Grand Central Pkway to Exit 262 New Hyde Park Rd South. Make a right turn. Go to Marcus Ave& make a left. Follow Marcus Ave. to sign Nassau Blvd & bear right. Take that’s straight over RR tracks & Proceed straight to Cambridge Ave, Make left & go approx. ¼ mile, entrance for Adelphi U. on left. Follow Signs to field.

From Eastern LI- Take GCP West and get off at New Hyde Park Rd. exit and make a left at first light. Go to Marcus Ave., make left and follow instructions above to Adelphi.
